About Corsham Connections

Corsham Connections is a local charity founded by a group of professionals in conjunction with Corsham Town Council, Wiltshire County Council and local Health Services which aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness in the local area.

We aim to help adults who are alone and who live in the Corsham community area. These people are assisted to engage with chosen community groups, activities or services to improve their social interaction and wellbeing.

Membership Application

This is done by volunteer “Connectors” talking face-to-face with each person, getting to know them, identifying areas of interest, and suggesting activities they might be interested in. The Connector liaises with the group the person is interested in and accompanies them to the introductory session if required.

If you’re struggling to get started or can’t find what you want, come and meet one of our Connectors. Contact us via our Referral Form here.

Maybe you’re interested in helping? Join our volunteers! All our volunteers are trained, DBS screened and supported in doing what many find is very rewarding work. They form an enthusiastic and happy group who enjoy what they do.
